Save the Blow Dry Review.

Most girls with long hair will agree that styling your hair everyday gets to be a pain. The blow-drying, straightening, curling, etc. Plus, there’s a lot more hair so you have to worry about and prevent dryness, split ends, and breakage. Shampooing you hair everyday isn’t good for it, so I try to wash mine every other day at the most. But obviously I still shower everyday. Trying not to get your long hair wet can be a problem! You just kind of put it in a bun on top of your head and hope for the best. It usually ends up getting a little wet. Blow-drying is also such a pain when you have long hair – it takes FOREVER. But I have found a solution! The Save the Blow Dry (STBD) shower cap. It’s super cute and functional.

This cap has two layers: a protective (plastic-y) outer layer and a microfiber inner layer. The plastic protects your hair from the water and the microfiber absorbs and water that may get around the plastic-y layer. For short hair, just put it on your head and make sure to tuck and pieces underneath. For longer hair, you may want to clip it up or put it in a bun to keep your hair inside easier. Some other tips for use: dry off before removing the shower cap and shake excess water or cap and hang up to dry. It also has another purpose: turn it inside out (so the microfiber part doesn’t get yucky) apply a hair treatment then the shower cap and allow that treatment to do it’s thing more efficiently, then simply wash the treatment off the plastic-y part and wah lah you’re done!

I mean how cute is it!? I love the pink bow design!

Disclosure: Financial compensation was not received for this post. A sample product was gifted from STBD. Opinions expressed here are my own.

  1. How fashionable!!! 🙂 I don’t have long hair and look horrible in any kind of hats so I doubt I would be the target demographic for this product but I am sure there are lots of ladies out there that will love to read this great review!
