Etsy Swap 2014 Reveal.

Recently I participated in the 2014 Fall Etsy Swap. It was a lot of fun. It’s more challenging though when you don’t email back and forth to get to know your partner you just have to look at their Etsy site, blog, etc. I sent a package to Wendy from The Life of Me, you can check out what I sent her here.

I received my package from Mika, I’m not sure if she has a blog. The items she picked out fit my personality perfectly, she did a great job.

IMG_0233She included a copy of Bride magazine and a DVD of The Princess Bride because I’m getting married next summer. She tied them together cute with a ribbon and added a calligraphy name tag. I would really like to learn calligraphy, it’s so beautiful!

IMG_0231A fall themed towel, 2 adorable cinch bags, washi tape, set of large clothes pins, set of mini clothes pins, and a dog toy for Jules! How cute are those mini clothes pins!? Those bags are adorable also. AND she even sent something for Jules, so sweet :). She must have picked up on the fact that she’s my baby.

3 sets of paper craft bags (white, chalkboard, kraft), 2 sets of alphabet letters (polka-dot and kraft), set of chalkboard plaques, set of chalkboard labels, set of gel pens (white, gold, black). Perfect for doing some crafts! And possibly some DIY for the wedding! 🙂

Like I said she did a great job picking out stuff for me, she spoiled me :).

20141022_105026Jules’ pretty happy too.

Local Flavor Swap Reveal.

Awhile back I posted that I was going to participate in the Local Flavor Swap hosted by CG Swaps. I was paired up with Kaylee from Chair in the Shade. To check out what I sent her visit her blog here. We are both from the Midwest, neighbors really (Iowa & Wisconsin), live in the country, and work in healthcare. It turned out we actually had quite a bit in common and I had a blast getting to know her. When I received the package in the mail I couldn’t wait to open it up and see what goodies she had picked out.

Local Flavor SwapKaylee picked out some really awesome items to send. The package included a note and postcard. Locally made sheep milk soap in an almond scent, it smells really good.  A handmade pot holder/hot pad and embroidered towel. Locally made pure maple syrup and cranberry raspberry jam. I can’t wait to make some pancakes to try out that syrup! Also she informed be that Wisconsin is the number one producer of cranberries in the US, which I didn’t know! An Amish cookbook, we live pretty close to Amish country also. A handmade candle in a mason jar that smell just like Macintosh Apples. I put it in my kitchen and have already got so many complements on it! Because every knows that if you visit Wisconsin you have to grab some cheese and apples :). And last but not least, cow shape sprinkles! So cute!

As usual I had a great time participating in the swap and can’t wait until the next one!
